Now that the Raspberry Pi is available in higher quantities, it's time to do some nostalgic absurdity with it.
First of all, I opened an old Super Nintendo cartridge and removed a lot of plastic in the signed areas. I even had to do some thinning where the yellow video chinch jack was taking place.
The Raspberry Pi fitted in nearly perfectly.
The USB and LAN jacks are higher than the cartridge which makes it unnecessary to fixate the circuit board inside it. I threw away the original Nintendo security screws and took some regular self cutting screws from the DIY store.
Finally, I sprayed the cartridge in gold. My next step will be some design work for a special logo...
And so it begins...
Update: I made a label for the front. Unfortunately, all the buyable self printing labels are either too small or too big. I took the bigger ones and tried to cut them. I failed.
